Amazon to open ‘four-star’ store in New York: BBC News reports that Amazon is opening a store in New York that will only sell products that receive a high rating on its website. The store will sell toys, household goods and other items that have a rating of four stars or more online. Customers who visit the store will pay less if they have bought into Amazon’s Prime service. Snapchat feature lets users search for Amazon products using camera: Sky News reports that Snapchat is about to let users search for items on Amazon using their smartphone’s camera and the app to identify products. Visual Search was reported earlier this year as Snapchat’s new method of differentiating itself from competitors. A potential affiliate deal with Amazon could see the company generate significant revenues if consumers decide to purchase the products that the tool is suggesting.

Amazon just rolled out its Whole Foods grocery delivery service in these cities: David Reid at CNBC reports that Amazon has expanded its grocery delivery service from its Whole Foods stores to more cities across the United States. The service is now available in Milwaukee, Omaha, Detroit, Jacksonville, Madison, Orlando, St. Louis, Ann Arbor, Tampa and Tulsa as well as in more areas around New York City and Seattle.
