We hate to be the bearer of bad new but… Amazon have announced that they will be restructuring fees effective 22 Feb 2017 for US sellers who use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA).
Here’s some dates and details.
22 February 2017
- FBA Fulfillment Fees (Order Handling, Pick & Pack, and Weight Handling) will be charged as one per-unit Fulfillment Fee.
- FBA media and non-media will be charged the same Fulfillment Fees.
- October fees will be consistent with November and December fees. Amazon is giving sellers an extra month to send their inventory to FBA at lower cost.
1 March 2017
- Monthly FBA storage fees are increasing by $0.10 /cubic foot
July 19th, 2017
- Amazon is increasing how often sellers are asked to send items to multiple locations.
Sellers can check FBA storage fees in the Long Term and Monthly Storage Fees reports within Seller Central.
As fees increase, it is important for sellers to keep track of costs.
